Grand Final Mechanism

Exhibition format with structured judging to highlight the strongest projects.

The Exhibition

  • Venue: TBA
  • City: TBA
  • Booth: Each team gets one standard booth (approx. 1m x 1m, may change later).
  • Display: Teams must display an A1 poster and their project item (prototype/laptop/sample).

The Judging Session

  • Judges will visit each booth to evaluate the project.
  • Presentation: 5 minutes (strictly timed).
  • Q&A Session: 5 minutes.
  • Total: 10 minutes per team.

Judging Criteria

Track A: Product (Tech & Engineering)

  • Functionality (30%): Does the prototype work effectively?
  • Innovation (25%): Is the idea new/unique?
  • Implementation (20%): Is it useful for society?
  • Scientific Principles (15%): Is the theory correct?
  • Presentation (10%): Delivery skills.

Track B: Research (Science & Theory)

  • Methodology (35%): Is the data valid and rigorous?
  • Analysis Depth (25%): Is the discussion deep?
  • Originality (20%): Is the research question new?
  • Significance (10%): Contribution to the field.
  • Presentation (10%): Delivery skills.
