The competition's foundation and exhibition are intended to demonstrate how science, technology and engineering can solve many problems around us.
The primary goal of this competition is to change students' perspectives on science by demonstrating that what they learn in school has practical, real-world applications. By encountering real-life problems, students are encouraged to move beyond and develop a deeper appreciation for the value of the lessons taught in school.
The main objectives of ISTEC 2026 are:
- Promoting Innovation: Encouraging students to develop tangible solutions (products/prototypes) for real-world problems.
- Global Networking: Connecting young researchers with peers and experts from diverse countries.
- Recognizing Excellence: Rewarding outstanding projects through a prestigious awarding system.
- Supporting Academic Progression: Providing a recognized international achievement that supports participants' admission to higher education institutions and scholarship opportunities.
